Barry Palmer
Principal

Barry commenced with Paul Jones in 1978. Since then he has seen the company grow to what it is today. He became a partner in the business in 1985, and has been the Principal of the Berowra office and is now the Principal of RE/MAX First Choice Hornsby. During this time he has continued to be active in listing and selling real estate.

The sales team have achieved many awards for their consistent attention to detail and customer service. These include the Hornsby and District Small Business Awards for “Outstanding Real Estate Agent” and “Local Employer of the Year.”

Barry and his wife Anne were both born and raised in the area, and currently live in Berowra.

 



Sonja Lamberton

My background is in the building industry, first in Architectural Drafting and then in sales, which led me to my true passion—Real Estate Sales.   I joined the RE/MAX sales team 3 years ago and in that time I have compiled an extensive database of buyers which enables me to perfectly match people to the right home.  I’ve had the pleasure of  negotiating the successful sale of well over 100 homes during my time at RE/MAX.   I’ve lived in the Hornsby Shire for over 20 years and my husband and I send our 3 children to local schools & sporting clubs.  We love our bush land surrounds and excellent facilities but what keeps us here is the warm community spirit. 

I make myself available to my clients any time of the day or night and I pride myself on being knowledgeable and realistic. I provide a level of service that exceeds what people are accustomed to and I am determined at all times to make the sales process as stress free as possible for my clients. For most  people, their home is their largest and most emotional investment, and I respect that. Jo Johnson

My association with the people of Hornsby Shire first developed in 1996 when I started work with Hornsby Shire Council Community Services Branch.  In 2006 a change of career led me to Real Estate, allowing me to continue my personal relationship with the local community as well as developing a passion for Residential Real Estate.

 I continue to serve the community in the voluntary positions of Chairperson for the Thornleigh Community Centre and a Justice of the Peace.

 My intention is for both seller and buyer to end the transaction thoroughly satisfied.

 Success is a combination of customer service, creating and being the best I can and above all being enthusiastic and friendly.

 My professional manner, comprehensive industry knowledge and personalised assistance have already earned me great respect from my peers and associates.

 I am married with 3 adult children and successfully balance full-time work and family life.

Allen Robertson
Sales Consultant

 

Prior to entering the Real Estate industry I had been  involved in a diverse field of self education, having 10 years experience as a Civil Design    Draftsman and 12 years with the NSW Police force. I entered the sales arena in 1996 in home improvement products and short term mortgage broking. I moved into Real Estate in 2006 gaining valuable experience in all areas of Residential Sales and Marketing.

I am friendly and approachable and have a strong desire to help both buyers and sellers achieve their goals.

 I have 2 adult children who are both employed in exciting chosen careers. I  enjoy being a Rotarian, getting involved in local community activities and when time permits fishing (feeding the fish really!).   

 



Jim Yang
Independent Associate

Jim is a valuable member of the RE/MAX First Choice sales team. He is a Chinese National and speaks English, Mandarin and other dialects. In China he was a teacher and since arriving in Australia has owned his own business. Jim is a Licensed Real Estate Agent completing his Diploma of Property in 2005 with credits.

Jim lives in Wahroonga with his wife and daughter.

 



 

 

 

Ben Kitchener
Sales Support

 

You are likely to see Ben driving the local streets in the RE/MAX van, busy delivering letters, taking photographs and erecting signboards.  

He provides excellent support to the Sales Consultants while obtaining experience in Real Estate Sales which he aims to make his future career.  Ben is studying for his Real Estate License by correspondence.
