Barry commenced with Paul Jones in 1978. Since then he has seen the company grow to what it is today. He became a partner in the business in 1985, and has been the Principal of the Berowra office and is now the Principal of barrypalmer.com.au real estate Hornsby. During this time he has continued to be active in listing and selling real estate.

The sales team have achieved many awards for their consistent attention to detail and customer service. These include the Hornsby and District Small Business Awards for “Outstanding Real Estate Agent” and “Local Employer of the Year.”

Barry and his wife Anne were both born and raised in the area, and currently live in Berowra.

Living in the Hornsby Shire since my arrival in Australia 39 years ago has given me a real connection with the local community and an appreciation of this beautiful part of the world.

Hornsby and its surrounding suburbs have grown and changed over the years  and  I  have been witness to many changes during my 7 years at Asquith Girls High and while raising my family in Berowra over the last 23 years.

During the past 15 years, I have been assisting my clients with the building and renovating of one of their most valuable asset.   This experience has given me the communication and negotiation skills which I am committed to use in my career in Real Estate. 

My aim is to make every single one of my clients a testament to customer service.

                          


 

 



 

Prior to entering the Real Estate industry I had been  involved in a diverse field of self education, having 10 years experience as a Civil Design Draftsman and 12 years with the NSW Police force. I entered the sales arena in 1996 in home improvement products and short term mortgage broking. I moved into Real Estate in 2006 gaining valuable experience in all areas of Residential Sales and Marketing.

I am friendly and approachable and have a strong desire to help both buyers and sellers achieve their goals.

 I have 2 adult children who are both employed in exciting chosen careers. I  enjoy being a Rotarian, getting involved in local community activities and when time permits fishing (feeding the fish really!).

Jim Yang

Jim is a valuable member of the barrypalmer.com.au real estate sales team. He is a Chinese National and speaks English, Mandarin and other dialects. In China he was a teacher and since arriving in Australia has owned his own business. Jim is a Licensed Real Estate Agent completing his Diploma of Property in 2005 with credits.

Jim lives in Wahroonga with his wife and daughter.
